The Year 6 students are matched with a Prep buddy.

They act as a mentor particularly during first term when they are adapting to new routines, making new friends and adjusting to a new environment.

During first term they eat recess and lunch together. Each week the students work collaboratively on confidence building, reading and getting to know you activities.

This is a bond that will last well beyond the year. The buddies are also excited to help out at the Year 6 Graduation.
